United We Serve

August 26th, 2009

We would like to take a moment to encourage people to investigate the new National Community Service site: Serve.gov. We encourage you to post your service projects, and join the community in working together toward these common goals we share.

In the videos below, members and participants from the Arizona Americorps Conference of 2009 talk about getting things done in Arizona.

Get involved! It makes a difference.

Arts groups reach out on the web

April 30th, 2009

In an effort to raise money for arts organizations, MyArtsCommunity.org is working to create an online presence for donating to the arts community in Phoenix.

According to the Arizona Republic’s Kerry Lengel, this six-week pilot project will attempt to build strong grassroots support for the arts in the valley.

We strongly support the arts, and we hope to establish a similar grassroots movement with this project.
