A volunteer is normally matched with someone in his/her neighborhood or traffic pattern and chooses which service he or she wants to provide. To get started, attend a volunteer orientation. In an effort to raise money for arts organizations, MyArtsCommunity.org is working to create an online presence for donating to the arts community in Phoenix.
According to the Arizona Republic’s Kerry Lengel, this six-week pilot project will attempt to build strong grassroots support for the arts in the valley.
We strongly support the arts, and we hope to establish a similar grassroots movement with this project.
